Training = Safety, Quality, and Productivity

Michigan Laborers’ spend $4.6 million per year to train its members at three state-of-the-art training facilities located in Perry, Wayne, and Iron Mountain, Michigan.

Michigan Laborers’ Training and Apprenticeship Institute staff are national recognized and can quickly develop new training curriculum to meet the customer’s specific needs.

The Michigan Laborers’ Mobile Training Unit brings training directly to the work site to provide safety, hazmat, and other classes tuned to the specific needs of the project.

The Laborers’ Construction Craft Apprenticeship program, established in 2004, trained 4,000 journeypersons and apprentices in 2008 and currently has 1,237 registered apprentices enrolled.
